1/6/09

Kansas City, MO - Today, Kansas City’s charitable organizations need your donations more than ever before. In an effort to serve charities and their prospective donors, the Better Business Bureau of Greater Kansas City is launching a local charity review program. Charities are reviewed according to the 20 Charity Accountability Standards and the results of the evaluations are made public. We are excited about providing this new service to the people of Kansas City. Below is a link to our active charity reports, as well as and those reports still in progress. If you don’t see your favorite local charity listed, we encourage you to inquire about that charity to the BBB. Charities with a significant number of inquiries will be asked by the BBB to register with us. We also encourage individuals to ask the organizations they care about to participate in our evaluation program. The BBB provides an easy - and free! - way for charities to demonstrate their commitment to accountability.
