The BBB Announces New Charity Seal Recipients

Kansas City, MO - The BBB Charity Information Service is pleased to announce that two local charities have met all 20 BBB Standards for Charity Accountability. Harvesters - The Community Food Network and Hope House, Inc. are the first recipients of the BBB of Greater Kansas City’s Charity Seal. Charities that meet all 20 Standards demonstrate an exceptional commitment to ethics and accountability and are the only organizations eligible to receive the BBB Seal.

If your favorite local charity is not listed with us, we encourage you to contact the BBB. We target our reports to organizations that the public has inquired about.

Charities may also register themselves. Charities that register with the BBB demonstrate to donors a clear commitment to using their donations wisely and a willingness to go above and beyond legal requirements, even if they are unable to meet all 20 Standards at this time.
